Don't see your bike on the list? Then call our sales tech's toll free at 1-877-640-2004 and ask.

When you're buying a BAKER Drivetrain transmission getting the best shouldn't be good enough. You may deserve better than that when there are standards to meet and goals to reach. This is why its part of our winning plan to make sure you're advised before, during, and after your purchase. We make sure you're covered with a tremendous 5-Year Limited Warranty on your FLT/FLH transmission after you buy it.

We believe in choices to tune your transmission to your standards. Pulley or sprocket? Would our 'R' Ratio 1st and 2nd gears be the ratio of choice for you? Would an ignition-kill shift kit shave your time on the track?

We believe in sacrificing in the name of holding our commitment to premium quality. Our releases take longer to get to market. Our products may cost more. Our warranty is one the industries longest. We'll ask the hard questions if you're not perfectly satisfied. It's all painful stuff, but we can take it. This is because we know its worth it. Nobody goes where we go...and it pays off.

We believe in American made products, especially for the American motorcycling culture. It's our duty as industry leaders to keep the quality of our products high, as well as keeping the quality of our company just as high. This all may go away if industry leaders don't set the quality standards and support the scene.

We work hard to ensure our customers believe in us. Whether you're riding across the country on a epic journey, or you're breaking a speed record somewhere, or you're trusting that the judges will see our brand name on your bike and consider it for points. Hell, believe in us even if you ride like an asshole bastard as you split lanes, rip on your bike, give it hell, and beat the shit out of it between bars. That's the idea! Have fun and worry not about your tranny!

The DD6 is a bagger's best bet. For touring bikes like FL models, we highly encourage you to use the BAKER DD6 (Direct Drive 6-Speed). This is our finesse transmission designed with highway speed and miles in mind.

The DD6 has helical BAKER gears in the cruising ranges of 4th, 5th and 6th. This makes those long highway rides smoother and quieter. Conventional straight-cut BAKER gears in 1st through 3rd are chosen to handle the high-torque moments in town, and perhaps with extra load on the bike. The direct drive economizes power transfer in and back out of the transmission thus making it more efficient and quieter as well.

There is significant thought in the design of the DD6, specifically with highway riding in mind. Go to the DD6 page to read more on this ultimate transmission for just this sort of riding.

Note: BAKER Drivetrain doesn't sell just the cases. You have to put a gearset in there.
