FOR 1990-2006 BIG TWIN

We sprinkled a little magic dust, from our meth trailer out back, on our Softail FrankenTranny transmission assembly to morph it into a builder’s kit that fits all 5-speed applications from 1990-up. It effectively converts a factory 5-speed into
a 6-speed overdrive with provisions for a 1936-based 4-speed kicker. Why did we do this? Because a timeless kicker on a Big Twin looks really fuckin cool! And kick starting your bike in a crowd of button pushers is boner material.

FEATURES:
- Gearset is assembled and ready to install
- Existing transmission case does not need to be removed from the chassis
- Includes maindrive gear bearing, snap ring, sprocket spacer, seal, fasteners, fork rod (short) and gaskets
- 500 RPM reduction in cruising RPM on highway with .86 6th gear ratio
- Trap door has dowels for positive kicker cover locating w/ BAKER kicker covers
- Kicker cover & related parts sold separately

NOTES:
- TwinCam models require ignition retrofit to facilitate kick starting
- FL models from 1993-up require a BAKER FF oil spout.
- Some exhaust systems may not be compatible with the FrankenTranny due to the extended transmission length and the required kick arm envelope.
