Comp Sprocket for 2007-2016 (Late Model)

THIS PRODUCT HAS BEEN SUPERSEDED BY THE NEW COMP SPROCKET. Click here to be directed to the new page.
Return to carefree riding with the BAKER Compensator Kit for 2007-Later Big Twins!

The BAKER 630-67K Compensator Kit features improved function, quieter operation, and extended durability over the stock factory configuration. These improvements were achieved by merging the tried-n-true pre-2007 cam lobe geometry with a patent pending circular oil trough that channels primary lubricant into the cam lobe region.

If you have any issues deriving from your stock comp sprocket, or merely need to replace your original comp sprocket, this is the way to go. It has been no secret that there has been a serious issue with the factory comp sprockets. With poor lubrication and the spring pack failures, many have had to live with that annoying metal-on-metal CLUNK. We have engineered the solution that takes care of these issues and gives you peace of mind with quieter function and improved lubrication.

Kit includes

  • 34-Tooth Compensating Sprocket
  • Motor Extension Shaft
  • Cam Slider
  • Spring Cup
  • Retention Bolt

Click here to get a step by step guide on installing the BAKER Compensator Kit.

For 2007 to 2010 Big Twin: The customer will need a HD rotor to install the BAKER compensating sprocket. For a 2006 Dyna, the customer will need  a HD rotor and stator. For 2011 Big Twin models, if the stock spring cup is welded onto the stock rotor, a new HD rotor will be needed  in order to install the BAKER compensating sprocket. HD rotors and stators are available for purchase from BAKER Drivetrain or your local HD dealer.

  • 10 degrees of rotation between lobes gives our comp sprockets an almost immediate engagement.
  • Pre 2007 cam lobe geometry and patent pending circular oil trough that channels the primary lubricant into the cam lobe region.
Benefits
  • Avoid the metal-on-metal CLUNK when shifting
  • 2006-2016 Dyna (except bikes with a 240 series rear tire)
  • 2007-2016 Softail / Touring (except CVO Softail Breakout models, Softail Rocker models, and any bikes with a 240 series rear tire)

This compensator sprocket is limited to 130hp.

Inspect the inside of the outer primary for a plastic oil deflector or casted in oil deflector. The plastic deflector needs to be removed for adequate clearance for the BAKER Compensator Sprocket Kit. If the deflector is casted into the inner primary; this area needs to be ground out using a small air die grinder or equivalent for proper clearance.

Good Product, Absolutely horrible customer service!!!

I have to agree with Kenton, the comp is a great product but.... be ready to wait. i had to wait 4 months before i got mine and every time i asked about it they gave me some bull shit answer. When i asked about some type of percentage off for the incontinence they ignored me. I thought bikers are supposed to help each other out guess they don't' believe that at baker. And just like Kenton once i sent a nasty long email to there sales department i received an email about an hour later that my product had shipped. So strange i am not the only one this has happened to. Its to bad cause they make a great product they just dont know how to get it to you so be ready if your thinking about getting this your bike will be down for months!!!!

Easy to install. Noticeable improvements are, better shifting, positive gear changes, easier starting, elimination of hammering noises in the primary, and simple design without the added flywheel effect.
