Celebrating Women's History Month

March is all about recognizing the impact women have on the world—and at BAKER Drivetrain, we see that firsthand every day. Did you know our president, Lisa Baker, is the driving force behind our operation? She keeps things running like a well-oiled machine—because let’s face it, women make the world (and the wheels) turn.

This month, we’re shining a spotlight on female-led events and businesses in the motorcycle industry. Check out some of the incredible women making moves below!

Arizona Bike Week Ladies Ride

The Della Crew is set to kick off an inspiring day of motorcycling with a Ladies Ride on Thursday, April 3, 2025, bringing together female riders for a cause.
The event begins at 9:30 a.m. with a meetup at Harley-Davidson of Scottsdale, where attendees can enjoy coffee and donuts before setting out on the ride. Led by special guests Dana Wilke of The Jessi Combs Foundation, Brandi Moya, Jess Rips, and Cody Renee Cameron, the ride will feature members of The Della Crew as they take a scenic route to Westworld, with kickstands up around 11:30 a.m.

More than just a ride, the event serves as a fundraiser for The Jessi Combs Foundation, an organization dedicated to empowering and supporting women in the trades, motorsports, and beyond.

Following the ride, participants and spectators can continue the celebration at the Iron Goddess Motorcycle Show at WestWorld, where women riders and builders will showcase their two-wheeled artistry.

Riders of all skill levels are encouraged to join, connect, and support a cause that honors the legacy of Jessi Combs, the late racer and fabricator who paved the way for women in motorsports.

N1 Shift Drum Kits

If you’ve ever found yourself fumbling for neutral at a stoplight or struggling with missed shifts in high-pressure situations, it's time to upgrade to the BAKER N1 Shift Drum. Designed for 1952-1979 Ratchet Tops, 1987-Later Softail & Touring, and 1991-Later Dyna models, this shift drum is a game-changer for riders who demand precision, reliability, and control.

The Problem with Stock: Stock shift drums use a 1-N-2-3-4-5-6 pattern, where neutral is tucked between first and second gear. This can make it frustrating to find neutral—especially when you’re wearing heavy boots or dealing with a finicky clutch.

The BAKER Solution: The BAKER N1 Shift Drum completely reverses the equation by putting neutral below first gear (N-1-2-3-4-5-6). This design:

✔ Eliminates the hassle of finding neutral—no more guessing games at stoplights.
✔ Prevents accidental shifts into second when you need neutral.
✔ Provides smoother shifts, whether you're ripping through gears or coming to a stop.
✔ Ideal for performance riders, stunt riders, riders with prosthetic limbs, and those wanting more control and confidence in any riding situation.

The Best Part: The BAKER N1 Shift Drum is made in the USA and built from precision-machined billet steel to outlast and outperform the stock setup. It’s the real deal— just solid durability and smoother shifting for every ride.

Don’t settle for stock. Upgrade your ride with the BAKER N1 Shift Drum and experience the difference firsthand.
