Run what you brung! Free Drag Racing In Sturgis!

BAKER Drivetrain is enabling the public to go all-out on their motorcycle by bringing back the FREE drag races. Run what you brung!

Let’s not get arrested in Sturgis again for street racing. Instead of having to punch the biggest guy in jail when you first enter, take on the biggest horses by kickin' it with the BAKER crew at the legendary Sturgis Dragway on Wednesday, August 9th from 5:30-11:00pm. Unlike the complicated social dynamics of a crowded cell space of wayward, drunken, pissed-off bikers; the rules with us are simple:

Free admission for racers and spectators; no tricks or gimmicks.
Two-wheeled and three-wheeled vehicles only.
Grudge, get your best ET, or put the spank on your loudmouthed riding buddy.

Bert Baker, co-founder of BAKER Drivetrain and last year’s Sturgis Hall of Fame inductee, throws this event for fellow racers and performance-nuts (those who are “all-in” to go-fast culture) so they can go “all-out” and let loose how they like. BAKER wants to encourage those who have never been on a drag strip to take an all-out plunge as well. Traditionally, the atmosphere will cater to 8 second drag bikes and 5hp mini bikes alike. This year, yet more fuckery is expected; again, not the jailhouse kind.
