Q: What is your specialty?

A: "FAST V-TWINS! We've been doing performance baggers and custom engine builds for a long time. But we specialize in anything performance related so we dig in to brakes, suspension, transmissions, primary, kind of the whole aspect of anything Harley-Davidson."

Q: Does your shop specialize in any specific motorcycle or year group?

 A: "We'll work on anything!"

Q: How long have you been in business?

A: "We have been Moonshine Harley since 2019. I have owned it since 2015. But the store has been there 30 years."

Q: What bikes do you own/ride?

A: "We currently have a 2016 Twin Came Bagger 120R that was reworked with a star racing 650 cam and a 2021 with a 139" M8 Nightmare motor. Right now we are currently working on a 2021 Road King with a 145" M8 for a drag bike that I will be racing. I was a big car drag racer, but now I'm a big Harley drag racer."

Q: What are your favorite BAKER products?

 A: "The GrudgeBox!"

Q: Do you have any interesting or funny BAKER related stories?

A: "It would probably have to be about about this guy, Mayhem. Because the first time we gave him his bike, he returned to us within an hour and his belt was broke, we fixed it, and within a week he grenaded the stock tranny. And we gave Mayhem, like me, a GrudgeBox and he's been good to go. He's trying to break this thing and hasn't been able to break it yet. When something doesn't break, he says, 'Man, I don't know what's wrong, I'm trying to break this but I can't.'"

Q: Any cool news about your shop?

A: "Some cool news is that we will have that race bike done in about a month or two. We just got our first M8 139" Nightmare crate motor done, so we'll have those available for the guy that needs a crate motor sooner than later."

Q: Do you host any events? If so, what is the biggest or most important event?

A: "We usually hold two drag days where we teach people that have never been to the drag races kind of how to do it, how to stage, how to launch, how to react at a tree,  do the burn out, we work with George Bryce from Star Racing on those events. We usually hold one, which we just had in April, and then we usually have the other in September. The event is called Moonshine Horsepower Race Day."

Q: What does American made mean to you?

A: "EVERYTHING! It's important. All of our special parts are made in America."

Q: Is there anything else you'd like to share with the BAKER Gearheads?

"A: If you'd like to know more about us, head over to the Moonshine Harley YouTube channel. We do a lot of our builds and post them on there. Right now we build two motors a day, everyday."
